Why CT114/115/116

Automatic backstop
CT115 and CT116 detect the backstop position and move it to the correct position automatically for stable cleaving and reduced setup time.

Automatic blade position change
The blade position changes automatically after a specified number of cleaves to support consistent low cleave angles.

RFID programme selection
With compatible FH110 holders, the CT115 series reads holder information and selects a pre-assigned cleaving programme.
Start with the fibre geometry and required end-face.
Research laboratories, fibre-laser teams and sensor developers may need the broader CT115/116 cladding range, automatic positioning and a controlled angled-cleave route. CT114 is the concise choice where its 660 µm range is sufficient.
For factory work, insert selection is fundamental: cladding and coating diameter determine the insert. Confirm the fibre, handling method, end-face requirement and cleave length before standardising the model and holder configuration.
Official operating range
- Fibre count: single fibre
- CT114 cladding diameter: 80–660 µm
- CT115/116 cladding diameter: 80–1,250 µm
- Cleave length: 5–40 mm
- CT116 supports angled cleaving
- Colour liquid-crystal display (LCD) gives progress and recommended insert size
Configure the complete system
The standard configuration does not include inserts. Select inserts according to the fibre coating and cladding diameters. The holder route is the fibre-holder adapter, FH-100 or FH110 series.
Confirm the appropriate insert, fibre holder and available options with us for the quotation.
